The controversial stance of Conor McGregor it bothers not only his rivals in the featherweight division, but also fighters from other weight divisions. Rafael dos Anjos, who has already exchanged provocations with the Irishman in the past, stated once again that he would be happy to welcome McGregor if he decides to fulfill his plans of moving to the 70 kg category.

Current lightweight champion, Dos Anjos stated that, if the fight between them gets off the ground, he would guarantee that he would crush the controversial fighter. “I think if he beats Aldo – which I think is very difficult – I would be happy to welcome him. He has a huge mouth, he speaks well to people. He is a comedian and manages to get the attention of the press. If he comes to the lightweight division, I'm here and I'll make sure I crush him”, said Dos Anjos, to the German website “GNP1”.
Both Dos Anjos and McGregor have commitments scheduled for December. On the 12th, the Irishman will try to win the linear featherweight belt against José Aldo, at UFC 194; a week later, Dos Anjos makes his first title defense against Donald Cerrone.
