The most recent challenger of Ronda Rousey rejected the idea of facing Amanda, as she did not say she was willing to face another Brazilian inside the octagon “My only thought regarding Amanda's statement is that I am very patriotic. And I don't want to fight a Brazilian. I like representing Brazil. I admire Amanda as a person and a fighter. If one day I have to fight a compatriot, let it be because of the UFC's orders. And not for promotion by me or anyone else”, said Bethe, in an interview with the “Combate” channel website.
The Brazilian has a duel against the former Strikeforce champion in mind Miesha Tate, who was also recently speculated to be in a fight with Amanda. “I'll fight whoever the UFC tells me to, but at the moment my desire is to fight Tate, which could be now, or after her fight with Amanda”, he added.
