Croatian Ante Delija lost his fight for the M-1 Global heavyweight belt after suffering a bad fracture in the first round

A strong scene marked the main fight of M-1 Challenge 61, an event held last Sunday (20) in Russia. Before Delija, who fought against Marcin tybura for the organization's heavyweight belt, he suffered a broken leg after having a shot blocked by his rival in the first round.

The move was very reminiscent of what happened with Anderson Silva at UFC 168, in December 2013. At the time, the Brazilian was trying to regain the UFC middleweight belt when he fractured his leg while Chris Weidman defended a coup.

The curious thing is that Tybura didn't immediately notice his opponent's injury. Upon seeing him fall, the athlete went to mount and threw a few blows, until the referee intervened. Without understanding, the champion was informed by Delija himself about the injury.

As a result, the 25-year-old Croatian suffered his third career defeat, against 14 victories. Check out the bid:
