Almost five months after seeing his chance to win the welterweight belt at the ONE FC Asian event end in a “no contest” (no result) after suffering an involuntary poke in the eye, Brazilian Luis Sapo already knows when he will challenge the champion again American Ben Askren. The rematch between the two was scheduled for the “ONE: Pride of Lions” event, which takes place on November 13, in Singapore.

At 35 years old, Luis Santos has an extensive professional record of 61 wins, nine losses, one draw and one unsuccessful fight. Before the “no contest” against Askren, Sapo, who played for events such as XFC and Bellator, was on a streak of seven consecutive victories, all by technical knockout or submission.
