In an interview with TV presenter Ellen DeGeneres, from the program “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, the champion admitted that she always gets emotional as her fights approach, even crying – which she says she did shortly before her most recent fight, against Bethe Correia, at UFC 190.
“I'm the biggest crybaby, especially during fight week, when I'm about to fight. I'm very emotional. Just like in my last fight: I cried the day before. You feel so excited, like all the emotions you could ever have came in one week. It's the greatest stress, the greatest anxiety, the greatest pressure and then the greatest happiness you can have. All this happens and sometimes you can't hold it back. It needs to be vented somewhere, like the eyes”, said the fighter, in a very sincere way.
Therefore, Ronda can prepare for strong emotions in November. At UFC 193, the fighter will defend her title again against Holly holm, in a football stadium in the city of Melbourne, Australia.
