Led by Ronda Rousey, UFC 190 records biggest pay-per-view sales since 2013

According to the first data released, UFC 190, headlined by the fight between the North American and the Brazilian Bethe Correia, recorded the biggest sale of pay-per-view in the United States since 2013.

According to the “MMA Fighting” website, the attraction at the beginning of the month sold approximately 900 thousand packages. The last event with the best record was UFC 168, in December 2013, which featured a rematch between Anderson Silva e Chris Weidman and Ronda facing Miesha Tate. That day, sales exceeded one million.

UFC 190's record also far surpasses all other events ever held in Brazil. None of the other events pay-per-view already done in the country, even those headed by Anderson Silva or by José Aldo, surpassed 350 thousand sales.

In the main fight of UFC 190, Ronda Rousey defeated the challenger Bethe Correia with a quick knockout, achieved at 34 seconds.
