Holloway_BronxWithout scares or provocations, but with a very unusual moment. This is how the official weigh-in for UFC Fight NIght 74 went, an event that takes place next Sunday night (23), in Saskatoon, Canada. In the main fight of the night, the Brazilian Charles of the Bronx made weight without any problems and confirmed the duel against the Hawaiian Max Holloway. In a very unusual moment at the weigh-in, local Olivier Aubin-Mercier made weight in the lightweight division and offered cookies to his rival Tony Sims.

First to step on the scale, Charles weighed 66 kg and needed an additional half-pound in tolerance to reach the featherweight division limit. Holloway, who had the support of the Canadian fans, reached 65,8 kg, the category limit.

At the time of the traditional face-off, the athletes shook hands, closed their fists and maintained some distance while exchanging fixed glances.

Do you accept a cookie?

Cutting weight is extremely exhausting for most fighters, but Canadian Olivier Aubin-Mercier preferred to celebrate the process in a lighter way. After making weight, the fighter offered cookies to his rival Tony Sims while still on the stage where the official weigh-in took place. The rival accepted the small cake, but preferred not to eat it.
