The Croatian returned to the UFC in April this year, at an event held in Poland. On that occasion, the veteran avenged one of the most devastating defeats of his career, against Gabriel Napao, winning by technical knockout.

UFC FN 79 will be held at the “Olympic Gymnastics Arena” and should have Thiago Pitbull against Benson Henderson in the main event. Korea will be the 19th country to host an event from the largest MMA organization on the planet and the fourth nation to debut as the Octagon's stage this year, after Poland, the Philippines and Scotland.
