Two light heavyweights who won at the beginning of August could meet inside the Octagon in November. According to the North American website “MMA Fighting”, the fight between Glover Teixeira and Patrick Cummins should be added to the UFC Fight Night 77 card, an event that will be held at the Ibirapuera gym, in São Paulo.
According to the report, the UFC intends to marry the fight and both athletes have already agreed to the idea. The final details should be resolved soon so that the official announcement can be made.
Teixeira, who was coming off two consecutive defeats, to Jon Jones e Phil Davis, recovered on August 8th, when he finished Ovince St Preux. Cummins, who was coming off a defeat to St. Preux in April, won Rafael Feijão at UFC 190, on the first of the month.
UFC Fight Night 77 will take place on November 7th and will feature the third duel between Vitor belfort e Dan Henderson.
