Considered the greatest heavyweight MMA fighter of all time, Fedor Emelianenko will return to fighting at 38 years of age. Despite no longer being a boy and having spent three years in retirement, the Russian has all the potential to return to his glory days. At least that's what Vladimir Voronov, the legendary Russian's longtime coach, guarantees.

According to the coach, Fedor showed a lot of desire and motivation to fight again and assured that the former PRIDE champion will take his preparation seriously.
“Fedor called me and said he was really looking forward to returning to MMA. I fully support him. I think Fedor's potential is even greater now than it was when he achieved achievements in the past. I've known him since childhood and, if he decided to return, it's because he's going to take it seriously”, declared Voronov, in an interview reproduced by the North American website “Bloody Elbow”.
Former champion of the extinct PRIDE, Emelianenko has a record of 34 wins, four losses and one no-contest. Among his victims in sport are Rodrigo Minotauro, Mirko Cro Cop, Andrei Arlovski, Mark Hunt and Mark Coleman. His last fight was in 2012, when he knocked out Pedro Rizzo.
