The great barrier that prevents the long-awaited fight between Ronda Rousey e Chris Cyborg may be about to be resolved. Nutritionist George Lockhart, who works with the Brazilian fighter, guaranteed that he will be able to make his client reach 61 kg, Rousey's weight, in a matter of a few months.

Cyborg originally operates in the featherweight category, whose limit is 66 kg. The North American, however, stated that she would like to see the Brazilian go down to the roosters so that the fight could take place.
Lockhart stated that Cyborg would be able to weigh 61 kg in a healthy way and would even be prepared to fight on December 5th, when Rousey supposedly intends to have her next fight in the UFC.
“If they want her to fight on December 5th, that would be within my deadline. It would be tight, but she would definitely be able to hit 61kg before December 5th. Many people do not have the physical preparation or mentality to lose weight. She has. I don’t see any problem with that,” said Lockhart, in an interview with “The MMA Hour” podcast. “My goal is to make her better, faster, more explosive at 61 kg. She would fight the same way she fights at 66 kg,” he added.
