With the UFC belt, Werdum watched the Grêmio 5×0 this Sunday (09), in Porto Alegre (RS).
“On the most important sporting day of all in Rio Grande do Sul, I'm going to the stadium to honor this great event. I represent Brazil, but I am very proud to be a Gaucho. Don’t fight, let me fight”, wrote the athlete, on his official profile on Instagram, also leaving a message of peace in the stands.
After the game, Werdum even published a video in which he appeared doing an Olympic lap on the Arena do Grêmio lawn to show off the heavyweight belt to the Tricolor fans. “Vai Cavalo”, as he is known, won the title last June by beating Cain Velazquez at UFC 188, in Mexico. The Brazilian still doesn't have an official date to return to the Octagon.
