The devastating victory of Ronda Rousey about Bethe Correia UFC 190 once again sparked discussions about a possible fight between the North American and the Brazilian Chris Cyborg. The Invicta FC featherweight champion once again asked the UFC to try to hold the fight, since, according to her, the fans would be the biggest beneficiaries.

“This fight needs to happen. If the UFC thinks I don't deserve the fight, don't do it for me. Do it for the fans”, asked the Brazilian, in an interview with the North American television channel “ESPN”.

The biggest obstacle to the fight is the weight issue. Cyborg normally performs at 66 kg, while Ronda weighs 61 kg. The Brazilian asks for the fight to be held at a catchweight, 63 kg, but Rousey disagrees: for her, Cyborg is fully capable of dropping weight, but she would have to, according to her words, stop taking prohibited substances.

Cyborg once again seemed uncomfortable with Rousey's accusations. “She can’t say anything about my doping. That happened in 2011. I've already gone through six tests, the same tests she does because we're in the same organization now. I don’t think it’s right for her to say something she can’t prove,” she added.
