At UFC 190, Rodrigo Minotauro suffered the third consecutive defeat in his career after being overcome by Stefan struve. Shortly after the event, UFC president Dana White said he no longer wanted to see the veteran enter the Octagon, something that, according to him, was not contested by the Brazilian. However, Minotauro denied that he was thinking about retiring and even made plans for his farewell fight.

“Dana was interested in seeing me work for the UFC, finding new talent and also in relationships with athletes, which is something I already do. I accepted immediately, but I will continue training. I didn’t say anything about retiring”, said the 39-year-old fighter, in an interview with the “Combate” channel. “The fight happened a little while ago and I’ll see what I’m going to do.”
