Three UFC fighters chose the stands for the competing event World Series of Fighting, held last Saturday (01) in Las Vegas (USA), to feature a big fight. During WSOF 22, an event starring the victory of Rousimar Toquinho about Jake Shields, brothers Nick and Nate diaz fell out with the Russian lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov and caused widespread confusion.
It all started with a heated discussion between the athletes, who accompanied their teammates who were fighting on the card. In the midst of the controversy, according to WSOF vice-president, Ali Abdel-Aziz, Nate diaz threw a punch at Khabib Nurmagomedov.
From there, the fight began and Khabib reportedly hit one of Diaz's friends with a punch in the mouth. The tempers were only calmed down with the arrival of security guards present at the event. However, when everything seemed under control, Nick Diaz he simply threw a glass of beer towards Nurmagomedov and started a new mess.
The athletes' attitude greatly disturbed the WSOF's top management, who assured that they will not invite them to the organization's events again. “I considered them friends, but I'm disappointed. I can't have these guys at events again. Several children and women were there. What if the bottle contains one of them? They would have gone to jail. And I don’t want to see a friend going to jail at my show,” said Adbel-Aziz.
