Bethe Correia there were few explanations after the main fight of UFC 190, an event that concluded in the early hours of this Sunday (2) in Rio de Janeiro. The Brazilian, who suffered a tough knockout to Ronda Rousey in just 34s, she recognized the champion's superiority, but assured that she will turn things around.

“I started the fight well. I got into the frank exchange, but I had the misfortune of her hand coming in. It happens. Her hand came in and it was her merit. But that’s it, I’m going to turn things around and I want to be the champion”, said the challenger, in an interview with the subscription channel “SporTV”.
Although the fight unfolded in a frenetic manner, Bethe stated that her strategy was to wait for the right moment to attack. “I was looking for the right time to put my hand in. I defended her takedowns well, but there was that moment when her hand came in faster and her victory happened. I trained a lot for this fight. Only God knows what I did for this fight. I really wanted to fight Ronda, in Brazil, and I did it. It wasn't the result I wanted, but I'll fight her again one day. I want to be the champion and I’m going to come back,” added the fighter.
With the result, Bethe suffered her first defeat in professional MMA, interrupting a streak of nine victories. Rousey now reaches an incredible streak of three consecutive victories in less than a minute, as she had previously defeated Alexis Davis in 16s and Zingano cat in 14s.
