More than defending her title, the North American hopes to once and for all resolve her personal disagreements with the Brazilian, who has been provoking the champion long before the fight between the two was even made official.

It all started when Correia defeated two of the champion's training partners, Jessamyn Duke and Shayna Baszler. Since then, the native of Rio Grande do Norte has been “digging” a fight against Rousey, remembering her victories over her friends or making other provocations.

However, it is inevitable to fail to mention Rousey's broad favoritism for the fight. The North American is more experienced, has a CV full of more relevant names and is on a clear technical rise. However, it's worth keeping an eye out to see if the scenario will be confirmed in the octagon or if the world will see what could possibly be the biggest upset in the history of MMA.

On June 26, 2005, Shogun and Minotouro had one of the most dynamic and exciting fights that the sport had ever offered. After good moments from both fighters, with the right to a knockdown For each, Shogun prevailed in the judges' decision and advanced to the prestigious PRIDE GP, where he would become champion.

As for the rematch, it can be said that both arrive with the rope around their necks. Shogun has been in a terrible phase in the octagon, with five defeats in his last seven fights, and his last appearance was a resounding defeat to Ovince St Preux, in Uberlândia (MG), with a knockout in 34s.

Minotouro, in turn, has only fought twice since 2013, being hindered by several injuries. In his last fight, he was run over by Anthony Johnson, who dispatched him with a knockout in 44 seconds.

Both Shogun and Minotouro will try to put an end to the bad phase once and for all.
