Ronda and Bethe make weight, have a tense face-off and the champion promises to destroy Brazil

It couldn't be any different. The official weigh-in for UFC 190, early this Friday night (31), was marked by yet another tense confrontation between Bethe Correia e Ronda Rousey, who will be the main fight for Saturday's event, in Rio de Janeiro.

Both fighters stayed within their weight for the fight, with the Brazilian even showing herself below the permitted limit. The crowd seemed divided between the two fighters, with a mix of applause and boos for both.

After getting off the scale, Bethe started staring at the American, again making provocations. “You’re going to be knocked out, you’re going to fall with my punch”, said the Brazilian, in Portuguese.

Afterwards, Correia sent a message to the fans, even those who will not support her. “I know many don't support me, but I'm going to fight for all of Brazil,” he said.

The champion once again promised a resounding victory. “I thank everyone for the noise made today. I'm going to deliver the most devastating defeat you'll ever see from Bethe. I can’t wait for tomorrow”, said the American fighter.

Athletes from the second most important fight of the night, Mauritius Shogun e Rogério Minotouro They also had no difficulties with the scale. Both men weighed exactly the same, at 93,4 kg, using the extra pound of tolerance for fights that aren't worth the title. The look between them was respectful.

The only one who was above the limit of his category was Clint Hester, opponent of Vitor miranda on the preliminary card. The American was less than a pound overweight.
