A few years ago, Rodrigo Minotauro e Stefan struve they have been provoking each other and doing their best to face each other, but the duel never got off the ground due to physical problems with both athletes. Now, finally, Struve and Minotauro will face each other at UFC 190, this Saturday (01) and the Dutchman believes he will prove to his rival that wanting this fight could have been a mistake.
“It was Minotauro who wanted to fight me first, it seems he thought I would be a good fight for him. And I'm going to go in there, do my fight and prove him wrong. Plus, a win over him will get me back on track. I've had some difficult moments, complicated years, but I want to leave all of that behind. If I win in a dominant way, people will quickly forget about it. Before the fight against Stipe Miocic, I was on a good upward curve, but suddenly I started to oscillate a lot. Now, I just want to show that I'm back and put on a great show on Saturday,” said Struve, in a chat with the SUPER FIGHTS.
Fighting at his opponent's home ground, the Dutchman said he was even surprised by the warm reception from the Brazilian public. “Even the Brazilian fans have been great to me so far. Of course they’re going to boo me on Saturday, but that’s okay, that’s the way it is,” he commented.
Stefan struve e Rodrigo Minotauro face each other in the third fight on the main card of UFC 190. The main fight of the night will put the rivals face to face Ronda Rousey e Beth Pitbull, in the fight for the Ultimate women's bantamweight belt.
