Triumph over Barão earns bonuses for Dillashaw; Brazilian does 'Fight of the Night'

As if another victory in his record and the maintenance of the bantamweight belt were not enough, the second triumph over Renan Barao, on Saturday night (25), yielded the TJ Dillashaw one of the bonuses Performance of the Night of UFC on FOX 16. Therefore, the champion received the extra check for US$50 (around R$167, at the current exchange rate).

In addition to Dillashaw, the other winner for his performance on the card was American Tom Lowlor, who returned to the octagon after more than two years away, and beat Gian Villante by knockout in his light heavyweight debut. Like TJ, Lowlor took home R$167.

Closing the list of awards for UFC on FOX 16, in Chicago (USA), the fight between Edson Barboza e Paul felder, won by the Brazilian in the second fight of the main card. According to president Dana White, the choice was difficult, and his team considered also awarding Ben Saunders and Kenny Robertson, who dueled on the preliminary card. Like the other bonus winners, Barboza and Felder received US$50 each.
