Renan Barao arrives for the rematch against TJ Dillashaw, this Saturday (25), with the certainty that he corrected all the mistakes he made in the first meeting between the two, in May last year, which ended in a dominant victory for the North American fighter.

At UFC 173, more than a year ago, Barão was surprised by the agile game of Dillashaw, who dominated the striking with the speed of his strikes and knocked out the Brazilian in the fifth round. In the reunion between the two, Barão has full confidence that he has drastically improved his game to regain the title.
"Everything has changed. I'm coming for the lighter fight, but I feel very strong. I had the chance to work and prepare with a lot of new people. I have a lot of people working with me, some of whom I don't even know, who are helping me with nutrition problems. I have doctors monitoring my training and my health. This is very advanced and professional”, commented the Brazilian, in an interview on the website of the North American broadcaster “FOX Sports”.
Barão stated that his goal since losing to Dillashaw is to regain the belt. “My main goal is to be the best. So, I'm prepared to fight anytime, anywhere. This will still remain my goal. My biggest strengths are my will to win and my heart,” he added.
Barão and Dillashaw are in the main fight of UFC on FOX 16, an event that will be held in the city of Chicago, in the United States. This will be the second title defense for the American, who retained the belt in August last year, beating Joe Soto. At the time, Dillashaw was supposed to face Barão, but the Brazilian faced problems with the weight cut and was removed from the card at the last minute.
