Winners of the two main fights of UFC Fight Night 71, Frank mir e Tony Ferguson received the “Performance of the Night” bonus at the event, held on Wednesday (15) in San Diego, in the US state of California.

Mir knocked out Todd Duffee in the attraction's most notable fight, obtaining his second consecutive victory. Ferguson defeated the veteran Josh thomson, former UFC champion, in a unanimous decision by the judges. Thus, each of them will receive an amount of US$50.

The other award distributed by the UFC went to Alan Jouban and Matt Dwyer, who had the so-called “Fight of the Night”. At the opening of the main card, the welterweights put on an electrifying fight, with good moments for both sides and a lot of aggression. Jouban won by judges' decision.
