Brazilian Thiago “Pitbull” Alves is preparing for his rematch against Jon Fitch at UFC-11, the American who defeated him in 2006. Speaking to the English-language website, MMA Junkie, the ATT athlete states that he has learned a lot since his defeat to Geoges St. Pierre at UFC-100, a fight valid for the organization's middleweight belt.
“GSP taught me a great lesson and I am very grateful to him,” he said. “I want to show the world what I learned,” says Pitbull.
“When you go two years without losing, you end up feeling comfortable,” he says. “You think no one will ever beat you again. Even if you are earning a lot, it is not good. You have to always challenge yourself”, recognizes the Brazilian.
