Girlfriend explains why she didn't report Browne to the police after assault

Following allegations of assault made against Travis Browne by his girlfriend, Jenna Renee Webb, the athlete's manager, John Fosco, reacted and disputed the accusations, even suggesting that the fitness model had hurt herself on purpose to harm him. Fosco's statements were not well received by Webb, who responded by explaining the reasons that led her to vent on social media instead of reporting Browne to the police.

“Travis abused me. He abused me physically, mentally and emotionally. However, I find it absurd that he is suggesting that I should have considered going to the authorities instead of coming to social media. Going to the authorities would mean seeing Travis arrested, going to jail, prosecuted for a crime, losing his career, and possibly also losing custody of his children. I chose not to do this and continue not to do this because I published my message about domestic violence to everyone. My goal is not to hurt Travis, but to help current and future victims through awareness. Domestic violence is not acceptable and he will be held accountable for it in the court of common morality,” Webb wrote on social media.

Following accusations of domestic violence, Travis Browne was removed from the program of “International Fight Week”, a series of commemorative events promoted annually by the UFC in Las Vegas (USA). At 32 years old, Travis Browne has a professional record of 17 wins, three losses and one draw. The Hawaiian comes from a defeat to Andrei Arlovski, at UFC 187, held on May 23rd.
