Before that, however, the Brazilian has what could be her last commitment in the featherweight category (up to 66 kg), before starting the process of changing divisions. This Wednesday (08), Cyborg weighed 65,6 kg without difficulty and confirmed her dispute for the Invicta FC belt against New Zealander Faith van Duin, who weighed 100g more than her rival.
Another Brazilian competing for a title on the night of Invicta FC 13, atomweight champion Herica Tibúrcio also had no problems making weight and reached the division's 47,5 kg limit. The brand was the same as that registered by her challenger, the Japanese Ayaka Hamasaki.
Invicta FC 13 takes place this Thursday night (09), in Las Vegas (USA). In addition to the featherweight and atomweight belt disputes, such as Chris Cyborg and Herica Tibúrcio, the event will also feature a duel between Mexican Irena Aldana and North American Tonya Evinger for the bantamweight title.
