The UFC's biggest fear was confirmed on Tuesday night (30). José Aldo is out of the fight against Conor McGregor at UFC 189, an event scheduled to take place on July 11, in Las Vegas.

The Brazilian, who suffered a rib injury last week, still tried to do his best to defend the featherweight title in the biggest fight of his career, but ended up being unable to perform due to the pain felt at the site of the injury. For his place, Ultimate confirmed Chad Mendes in the interim title fight against McGregor.

Boss scolding
