The reverse of Lyoto Machida before Yoel romero in the main fight of UFC Fight Night 70 last Saturday (27), the second consecutive in just over two months for “Dragão”, he ended up not having as much influence on the event's payroll and the Brazilian received around three times more than his tormentor, a value corresponding to the highest salary on fight night in Miami (USA).
In total, Lyoto earned US$200 (approximately R$618 at current prices). Romero, second highest paid of the night, took home US$66 (R$204), the same amount received by welterweight Lorenz Larkin, who beat Santiago Ponzinibbio in the co-main event. The salary list, which is the responsibility of the Florida Athletic Commission, was published by the North American website “MMA Junkie”.
