The world of MMA was taken by surprise this Tuesday afternoon (23) with the announcement of the rib injury suffered by the Brazilian champion José Aldo during his training for UFC 189, and which could put at risk the long-awaited duel for the featherweight belt against the loudmouth Conor McGregor.

There was so much turmoil that UFC president Dana White decided to speak out on social media about the matter. Dana, however, adopted an enigmatic tone and, despite keeping fans' hope by implying that the duel between Aldo and McGregor should not be cancelled, left fans with a flea behind their ears.
“Relax, all of you”, wrote the leader on his official profile on Twitter.
Dana's publication quickly spread across the accounts of journalists around the world and MMA fans, who speculated about the content - whether, in fact, the president means that Aldo x McGregor is still standing or that he has already found a replacement for the Brazilian.
So far, despite the announcement of Manauara's injury, the duel between José Aldo e Conor McGregor continues as the main fight of UFC 189, an event scheduled for July 11th, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas (USA).
