Ed Soares comments on Cigano’s evolution

Businessman of beasts like Anderson Silva, Rogério Minotouro and Lyoto Machida, Ed Soares also manages the careers of the two Minotauro Team heavyweights, Júnior Cigano and Rodrigo Minotauro. The manager commented, in an interview with MMA Weely, on Júnior Cigano's rapid growth and the possibility of a title fight soon.

“We are not in a rush to fight for the belt. He's only 25 years old, still a growing boy. Every time I see him he seems a little bigger. I think he's drinking a lot of milk and getting bigger and stronger”, said the businessman, who hopes that the next person to fight for the belt will be Cigano's training partner, Rodrigo Minotauro.

“I would like to see Rodrigo beat Cain (Velasquez) and have this chance to fight for the belt, but the UFC decides that”, says Soares, who gives great praise to the organization and says he does not choose opponents for his fighters.

“The UFC gave us some great fights, some incredible opportunities. We never choose our opponents, whoever they put in front of us, we will face with a smile”, he concludes.
