I even thought about giving up the fight, because I felt very bad recently, as I ate a block damaged, but I wanted to come here and fight in front of this audience”, said the Olympic medalist.
TUF Latin America champion is run over in less than 30 seconds
Champion of the first season of The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America, the mexican Alejandro Perez He had his first fight since winning the reality show right in front of his fans, but the result of the fight against Patrick Williams couldn't be more surprising. The North American frustrated the home athlete's party and managed the submission in an incredible 23 seconds.
As soon as the gong sounded, Perez was already on the ground, after suffering a knockdown very hard. Without wasting time, Williams attacked his rival and landed a guillotine choke. Still shaken by the blow he suffered, the Mexican didn't even have the strength to react and ended up collapsing in the middle of the Octagon.
Escudero makes fans happy with lightning victory
Patrick Williams' triumph, however, wasn't the only lightning victory on the UFC 188 preliminary card. To the delight of the local audience, Mexican representative Efrain Escudero managed to quickly land a guillotine choke and submitted him. Drew dober before the end of the first minute of fighting.
