The intense battle between Thiago tavares e Brian ortega received the fight of the night award at UFC Fight Night 68, an event held in the early hours of this Sunday (07), in New Orleans (USA). The featherweights received an extra prize of US$50, around R$157,5 at the current price.
Those who were also able to celebrate were heavyweight Shaw Jordan and lightweight Dustin poirier. They received the same amount for the night's performance bonus. Jordan managed to submit Matt Mitrione in the first round. In turn, Poirier ran over Yancy Medeiros to achieve victory by knockout in the first round.
