In the second half, Collier made his game count. He struck the Brazilian in the stand-up fight, forcing Demente to retreat at several moments. Halfway through the robbery, Ricardo's face was already bleeding. With a minute to go, Demente got a takedown. But with little time on the clock he couldn't seek the submission and only managed to land a few punches on his rival's ribs.

In the third round the fight became exciting. Although the athletes were clearly tired, the athletes accepted the frank exchange of blows. Jake took the initiative, but Demente responded with good combinations. Ricardo still tried to take down the North American, but he defended himself very well and stayed on his feet. In the final seconds, Demente still had a good moment, but the bell interrupted the dispute.
