Do Bronx and Formiga rise in the official UFC rankings after victories in Goiânia

Another one that moved up the list is Ju Thai; defeated in the main fight of the event, Pitbull fell to welterweight

UFC Fight Night 67, held in Goiânia last Saturday (May 30), provided some changes to the official UFC rankings. Charles of the Bronx e Jussier formiga, who won categorically in the event, gained positions respectively among the featherweights and flyweights, now occupying prominent positions on the list.

From the Bronx, who hit Nik lentz in a very busy fight, he jumped to seventh place in the up to 66 kg category, leaving behind Dennis Bermudez and Lentz himself, who is now ninth. Ahead of the Brazilian are Chad Mendes, Frankie Edgar, Conor McGregor, Ricardo Lamas, Max Holloway e Cub swanson.

Formiga jumped to third place among the flyweights after beating his compatriot Wilson reis. The Nova União athlete left Ian McCall behind and is only at a disadvantage compared to John Dodson e Joseph Benavidez, two athletes who have defeated him in the past.

The event also represented good news for Juliana Lima. The Minas Gerais native, who beat Ericka Almeida, overtook Aisling Daly and Heather Jo Clark to take 11th place.

The only Brazilian who lost UFC FN 67 was Thiago Pitbull. Defeated in the main fight of the event, the Ceará native fell to 13th among the welterweights; already Carlos Condit, who surpassed the Brazilian, remained in fourth.
