TUF Brazil 1 Champion, Ron Jason was the highlight of the UFC Fight Night 67 preliminary card, this Saturday night (30), in Goiânia. The Brazilian returned to the UFC after a year away due to injury with a submission victory against Damon Jackson.

After the fight, Jason raised the crowd in the gym with his protest speech. “I'm not ashamed of being Brazilian because of you [the fans], but because of the government, which is destroying everything. Corruption in Brazil is ambidextrous, so let’s unite”, said the fighter.

In the first Brazilian duel of the night, Juliana Lima used her experience to calmly defeat Ericka Almeida with a unanimous decision from the judges. Ju Thai dominated the actions on the ground to win according to all the judges, with one of them even scoring 30 to 25.

With this, Juliana won her second victory in a row, as she was coming off a triumph over Nina ansaroff in Uberlândia (MG). Ericka, strawweight champion of the Jungle Fight, suffered defeat in his Ultimate debut, which was also his first setback in professional MMA.

In the promising fight between featherweight Mirsad Bektic and lucas mineiro, a hit from the Bosnian. Bektic punished Mineiro from start to finish, both with ground and pound and striking and settled the score in the second round.

Capoeira loses in his UFC debut

The UFC debut of the former UFC champion Jungle Fight Elizeu Capoeira It wasn't what he expected. The Brazilian had good moments in the octagon, but was defeated by Nicholas Dalby in combat in a very close combat, which lasted all three rounds.

Overall, Capoeira had the better of the striking, connecting good blows on Dalby. The Dane, however, balanced his actions with falls at precise moments. In the end, Dalby was named the winner in a split decision by the judges.
