Upon learning of the negative repercussions of her provocation, Bethe made a point of going public and clarifying the situation, sending a message directly to Ronda herself apologizing for the inconvenience caused.

“Ronda, I never knew what happened to your father. I am humble enough to ask you for forgiveness. Family is a blessing to me. See you at UFC 190”, wrote the Brazilian on Twitter, in response to a publication by the blonde on the subject.
In a recent interview, Bethe talked about her next opponent, but ended up joking about suicide with her rival, who lost her father in this way when she was just eight years old. “She (Ronda) is not a good person, she needs to take care of herself. She has a lot of people around her, she is winning, but when she comes to her senses and sees that it's not all that, I don't even know what will happen. I hope she doesn’t commit suicide”, said the Brazilian, on the website of the “Combate” channel.
Bethe's words were not well received by Ronda, who responded immediately after learning of the challenger's statement. “You don’t make jokes or sell fights with suicide. My father will be with me the day I give you the punishment you deserve,” Rousey responded, via her social media.
Ronda Rousey e Beth Pitbull face each other on August 1st, at HSBC Arena, in the main fight of UFC 190. The event, which takes place in Rio, will be the only pay-per-view of the year on Brazilian soil.
