Anderson ends controversy, denies provocation to Belfort and says he supported the Brazilian

Spider had posted a video training jiu-jitsu at the same time that Belfort was dominated in the ground fight against Weidman

anderson_InstagramAnderson Silva decided to put an end to the controversy created after the defeat of Vitor belfort for Chris Weidman No. UFC 187. Soon after, the Brazilian was dominated by the middleweight champion in the ground fight, the Spider published a video in which he does jiu-jitsu training with his teacher Ramon Lemos.

After the great repercussion of the post, Anderson returned to social media to say that he had no intention of provoking Belfort, who was his rival on other occasions. Silva said he doesn't usually watch fights when he's not preparing for fights, but he was rooting for his compatriot in the title fight. The former middleweight champion even complained against some followers who posted comments on his account.

Good morning guys, I'm not doing any harm or talking about anyone, I can post whatever I want on my social network, to tell the truth I don't even watch UFC fights except when I'm getting ready to fight or when a training brother goes to fight.

PUBLICITY:

So I think there are a lot of people talking nonsense, I guarantee that the majority of people who come here to criticize have never been successful at anything in life and if they have, they are not happy. I never said anything but there is a minority that accuses, criticizes and perhaps has no idea what the sport of MMA is. If those in the know who are talking a lot of nonsense do a quick search in my interviews, they will see that I always said that the belt was a Brazilian heritage and that regardless of who I was with, being here in Brazil I would be happy.

I'll repeat, I didn't see the fight and if you want to know if I was supporting Vitor, of course I was, because he was there representing Brazil, so please stop talking nonsense. As for my doping case, I am waiting for the commission and my lawyers. I'm not a cheater and I've never had a pumped-up body. If in doubt, just look at my fights in Japan, when I fought at 80kg in Pride because there was no 84kg category and I fought with guys who dropped from 100kg to 94kg, so for those in the know here , go look for real facts.

PUBLICITY:

I apologize to my followers and fans who give me strength and who criticize with the intention of helping me and not putting me down, because I don't want you to think I'm being rude to you, I'm just tired of hearing lies and false accusations . I don't live in a glass jar, I'm not a saint and I've never called myself the best, I've always done what I love with truth without obfuscating or lying to anyone and unfortunately I can't please everyone because I'm not and I don't want to be unanimously have a great Sunday for all
