Cormier beats Johnson, wins vacant title and warns Jon Jones: 'I'm waiting for you'

The North American was scared right away, but recovered and managed the submission in the third round

After almost four years, the Ultimate light heavyweight category has a new champion: Daniel Cormier. But the athlete American kickboxing Academy continues with his head on the former title holder Jon Jones. This Saturday (23), in the main fight of UFC 187, Cormier beat Anthony Johnson, won the vacant belt in the 93 kg division and sent a direct message to Jones, who continues to await the legal outcome of his most recent problem with the law.
