UFC women's bantamweight division champion, Ronda Rousey impresses not only because of his undefeated record in MMA, but also because of the quick and overwhelming way in which he obtains his victories. His last three fights, together, lasted 1min36s, when he ran over Sara McMann, Alexis Davis e Zingano cat. However, the fighter predicts that her next title defense will take longer than has been seen recently.
The North American will face Bethe Correia in the main fight of UFC 190, in Rio de Janeiro. Due to the intense rivalry with the Brazilian, Rousey promises that she will provide a long and hard punishment on August 1st. “When I finish off my opponents quickly, they don't realize that it's me being merciful. So, I’m not going to be nice to her”, said Rousey, in an interview with the North American radio station “Sirius XM”.
The champion also commented on her last fight, against Zingano cat, in which he won with an armbar in just 14 seconds. Even though the challenger was severely criticized for being hasty in the few moments of action, Rousey stated that her opponent, in fact, did nothing wrong. “She did everything right, she didn’t make any mistakes. That's the thing: there is no right answer for me. Does not exist. How would she guess that I would invent a new armbar? I got the headlock in from the side, and no one had ever seen an armbar like that before. She wouldn’t have been able to prepare for that coup because it didn’t exist until then,” she noted.
the fight between Ronda Rousey e Bethe Correia it will also be a duel between undefeated fighters in the octagon set up at the HSBC Arena, in Rio. The Brazilian also doesn't know what it's like to lose in her career and is coming off victories over two of Rousey's close friends, Jessamyn Duke and Shayna Baszler.
