Malki Kawa, businessman from Jon Jones, believes that the North American fighter may never step foot in the Octagon again after the recent controversies he was involved in, which cost him the UFC light heavyweight title and resulted in a suspension.

Jones, who hit a pregnant woman's car the weekend before and fled without providing help, should only be allowed to return to fights after resolving his personal and legal problems. Kawa, however, warns of the possibility that “Bones” may decide to end his career at 27 years of age.
“That may very well have been the last time we saw Jon Jones in the octagon. I think that Jon Jones will focus on Jon Jones. I think it will take time to do whatever he wants to do. And if this is the last time we see him fight, it will be the last time we see him fight. And I have no problem with that”, said the businessman, in an interview with the podcast “The MMA Hour”.
However, Kawa stated that the decision regarding Jones' future will be up to the fighter himself. “If this is the last time we see him fight, and it could very well be the case, it is because of a decision he made. It won't be because of a negative headline, or the positive things he's done. If that happens, it will be because he decided that way”, he clarified.
With the UFC stripping Jones of his title, a reign that had lasted since 2011 in the light heavyweight division ended. Now, Anthony Johnson e Daniel Cormier will face each other at UFC 187, on the 23rd, to decide who will be the new owner of the category's linear belt.
