The situation of the UFC champion Jon Jones is increasingly complicated. The fighter, who involved in a car accident and fled, last Sunday (26), he is now suspected of having consumed drugs before driving. Police in the city of Albuquerque, where the accident occurred, found marijuana and a pipe inside the vehicle.

According to the website TMZ, an off-duty police officer witnessed the accident and saw Jon Jones fleeing on foot with a large amount of money and leaving the vehicle, a silver SUV, without providing assistance. The victim would be a 20-year-old woman, who is pregnant, and was taken to the hospital.
The accident happened because the car, which would have been driven by Jones, did not respect the red light and caused a collision between three vehicles. According to the New Mexico state police report, documents belonging to the UFC light heavyweight champion were found inside the silver SUV. The fighter has been missing since the incident.

This is not the first time that Jon Jones gets involved in trouble outside the UFC. In 2012, the fighter was tried and lost his license for drunk driving and hit a post. In 2014, the champion was caught in a drug test for cocaine use. As the test was carried out outside the competition period, 'Bones', as he is known, was not suspended and entered rehabilitation.
