Another heavyweight duel was announced for UFC 190, an event that will take place on August 1st in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). In search of recovery, Antonio Pezão will have his third consecutive fight in Brazil against Australian Soa Palelei.

Former challenger for the UFC heavyweight belt and with a victory over the legendary Fedor Emelianenko In his CV, Pezão is going through a delicate moment in his career. The Brazilian doesn't know what it's like to win for four fights, having recorded three defeats and a draw. In his last two appearances in the octagon, Pezão suffered knockouts to Andrei Arlovski e Frank mir in Brasília and Porto Alegre, respectively.

Palelei is going through a relatively good moment within the UFC, with four wins and one loss in his last five fights. In his last fight, in Sydney (Australia), “Hulk”, as he is known, knocked out Walt Harris.

So far, four fights have been announced for UFC 190. Rodrigo Minotauro e Stefan struve make the other heavyweight fight confirmed for the attraction. In addition, the event will also have Mauritius Shogun x Rogério Minotouro and the main fight, with a title fight between Ronda Rousey e Bethe Correia.
