TUF Brasil 2 veteran, Ponzinibbio faces Larkin in June, in São Paulo

Another fight has been confirmed for the event that will mark the finals of TUF Brasil 4, on June 27th, at the Ibirapuera gym, in São Paulo. Santiago Ponzinibbio once again he will fight on Brazilian territory against Lorenz Larkin.

A veteran of TUF Brasil 2, the “good Argentinean”, as he is known, fell in favor with the Brazilian fans during the program. In Ultimate, Ponzinibbio won two victories, over Wendell Negão and Sean Strickland, against a defeat, suffered in the debut against the previously undefeated Ryan LaFlare. His record in professional MMA is 20 wins and two losses.

A Strikeforce veteran, Larkin will try to continue his recovery period. In his last fight, he knocked out John Howard and put an end to a negative streak that lasted three fights. On his resume, Larkin has victories over Robbie Lawler, Chris Camozzi and Gian Villante, all current UFC athletes.

The main fight of TUF Brasil 4 Finale will also be in the welterweight category, with the duel between Erick silva and Rick Story.
