Even a month after winning the Bellator bantamweight belt, with a triumph over Joe Warren on March 27, Amazonian Marcos Loro finally fulfilled a promise made to his late mother. On your official profile on Instagram, Loro released a video in which he appears visiting his mother's grave and taking with him the champion belt of the second largest MMA organization on the planet.

“Today I fulfilled the promise I made to my mother and took the belt to her”, wrote the fighter, along with the video released on social media. Maria Mercedes, Loro's mother, passed away in 2012, due to complications from uterine cancer.

With his triumph at Bellator 135, the Amazon native became the third Brazilian to hold a belt in the organization, which already has Patrick Pitbull as featherweight champion and Douglas lima at the top of the welterweight division.
