The game, developed by Canadian studio Electronic Arts, is available on the App Store and Google Play, measuring around 530 MB in size. The producer classifies the game as “intuitive in its controls”, in addition to highlighting the high definition graphics.
The version for mobile devices had been launched as a test in February, but was only available in Canada, South Korea, Singapore and Russia. Due to its success, with more than two million downloads, an updated version was made available worldwide.
“We are really excited about the positive feedback and support we have received. Now, even more people around the world will be able to experience the best graphics and excellent gameplay that sets new standards for fighting games,” praised Dean Richards, general manager of EA Sports. UFC president Dana White was also pleased with the news. “EA is giving fans another chance to play EA Sports UFC, no matter where they are in the world. We are transforming sport into something accessible and on a global scale,” he highlighted.
The game features 70 athletes, divided into four different categories: heavy, medium, light and fly. However, there are no female divisions, which leaves out Ronda Rousey, one of the biggest sports stars today.
