Diego Brandão opens Brazilian participation in UFC on FOX 15 with victory due to medical interruption

UFC on FOX 15 started well for the Brazilians, who will take part in three fights on the night. In the second fight of the preliminary card, the Ceará native Diego Brandao He beat the American Jimmy Hettes by medical interruption, due to a serious cut on his ear.

Bantamweight Aljmain Sterling added yet another credential of respect to his reputation as a great promise in North American MMA by submitting Japanese veteran Takeya Mizugaki in the third round.

After dominating the first two rounds, Starling didn't slow down in the final round and attacked Mizugaki. Even underneath his rival on the ground, the North American managed a very technical and difficult submission, locking in a choke that made the Japanese tap out quickly.
