The focus of the UFC on FOX 15 weigh-in, this Friday afternoon (17), was focused on the event's protagonists, who will fight important fights with an eye on the possibility of competing for the UFC middleweight belt. The 21-year-old VanZant wore a pink bikini, while Herrig sported a leopard-print outfit, which she defined as “warrior princess attire.” Afterwards, the two athletes, who exchanged several provocations in recent months, looked straight into each other's eyes in the official gaze, immediately avoiding the greeting.
At 30 years old, Herrig has a record of 10 wins and five losses in professional MMA, and is coming off a positive result in her UFC debut, when she submitted Lisa Ellis. VanZant, with a leaner record, has four wins and one loss. In her UFC debut, she defeated Kailin Curran via TKO.

Protagonists of the event, Lyoto Machida e Luke Rockhold confirmed the fight that could define the next challenger for the UFC middleweight belt. The two athletes reached exactly the same weight on the scale, 83,9 kg. Soon after, Machida and Rockhold stared at each other in the official gaze, but greeted each other immediately afterwards.
Another prominent Brazilian in the attraction, Ronaldo Jacare He had no problems staying within the middleweight category limit. Entering with the traditional alligator gesture with his arms, the Brazilian used the extra pound of tolerance to weigh 84,3 kg, slightly more than his opponent, Chris Camozzi, who weighed 83,9 kg.
