Jacaré submits Matt Lindland

Fonseca, in a unanimous decision by the judges and achieved his first victory in the organization. Among the main fights, Ronaldo Jacare debuted on the right foot in Strikeforce. Facing the experienced Matt Lindland, the Brazilian showed great progress in his striking and the old efficiency in jiu-jitsu, submitting the Team Quest leader with a fair katagatame in the first round.
In the main fight of the night, valid for the organization's lightweight title, Gilbert Melendez successfully defended his belt and defeated Josh thomson in the unanimous decision of the judges. Check out the full results:
