“Greatness comes not when things always go well for you, but greatness comes when you are really tested, when you suffer some blows, some disappointments, when sadness comes. Because only if you have been to the deepest valleys will you one day know how magnificent it is to be on top of the highest mountain. Thank you everyone for everything, UFC”, wrote Spider in his Instagram, along with an image in which he appears greeting the organization's president Dana White.

Anderson Silva now awaits its judgment by the Nevada Athletic Commission, which is scheduled for April 21st. On that date, it will be decided whether Spider will be suspended due to positive results in two anti-doping tests and whether, in addition, he will receive a cash fine and see his victory over Nick Diaz at UFC 183 be reversed into a No Contest (fight without result). Despite the confusion, Anderson can be seen on television as a coach on TUF Brasil 4, at least in the first episodes of the show, as it is known that he was excluded from the program and replaced by his friend Rodrigo Minotauro after the doping scandal became public.
