Rogério Camões, renowned physical trainer in the world of MMA, experienced days of turbulence when Anderson Silva, one of his main pupils, was caught in two anti-doping tests at the time of his last fight, against Nick Diaz, at UFC 183. This is because many automatically considered him one of those responsible for the episode, the first involving the former UFC champion and banned substances.

However, “Rogerão”, as he is known, highlighted that he feels with a clear conscience and trusts that everything will be clarified on the day of the official hearing of the Nevada Athletic Commission, the entity that is judging the case. “I believe that on the 9th [of April] everything will be clarified, everyone will be aware of what happened. Not even Anderson himself is to blame for anything. I can't say anything, but I can say that, from the 9th, people will be clear about what happened. I'm sure most people know that Anderson would never dope to fight, because he doesn't have the slightest need. The guy who has the conditioning he has, who has always presented himself clean... We know he doesn't need anything. Regardless of what happened, I'm very calm. My conscience is very clear”, said Camões, in an interview with the website “Portal do Vale Tudo”.
Although the hearing was originally scheduled for April 9, the date is not on the Nevada Commission's list of upcoming appointments. According to the entity's official website, the next meeting will be on the 21st of this month. The agenda for the meeting has not yet been made available.
