The second Kamikaze Sports Jiu-Jitsu Cup will be held this Sunday in Ribeirão Preto. The event, which will be played in the minor, adult and senior categories, will distribute more than 15 thousand reais in prizes.
“We have already received more than 300 registrations, but as the deadline for registration is Wednesday, we should reach more than 450 competitors”, said Leandro Sakamoto, organizer of the event.
The tournament should feature big names in the gentle art to compete for the absolute black belt, as Leandro reveals.
“The absolute black belt will have the biggest prize of the event with 3 thousand reais for the champion and 1500 for the runner-up. Several athletes have already shown interest in fighting, such as Alexandre de Souza, Antonio Peinado and Ricardo Demente, last year's champion, but in the absolute, registration can be done at the time of the competition”, says Leandro.
